When you use Taskel, you may share information such as your academic situation, course details, interests, career goals, school name, and major. This information is submitted as part of your conversations with the Taskel AI mentor.
Taskel does not require you to create an account. We do not collect or store your name, email address, or any personally identifying information unless you voluntarily provide it within a conversation.
The content you submit is sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. This is the sole purpose for which your conversation data is used. Taskel does not use your conversations for advertising, does not sell your data to third parties, and does not use your information for any purpose other than generating the responses you request.
Taskel does not maintain a database of user conversations. Conversations exist only within your current session and are not stored by Taskel after your session ends.
Taskel uses the following third party services to operate:
Anthropic — processes your messages to generate AI responses. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.
Netlify — hosts the Taskel application and processes API requests. Netlify's privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy.
Apple — if you subscribe to Taskel through the iOS app, your payment information is handled entirely by Apple through their In-App Purchase system. Taskel does not have access to your payment details. Apple's privacy policy is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
Taskel offers an optional subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All billing, payment processing, and subscription management is handled by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
Taskel does not use third party analytics tools and does not track individual user behavior within the app.
Taskel is designed for students aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through Taskel, please contact us at taskelapp@gmail.com and we will take steps to remove that information.
Since Taskel does not store personal data, there is generally no data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about information that may have been processed through your use of the app, you may contact us at taskelapp@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
